If you love eggnog, then this Eggnog French Toast is sure to be a favorite breakfast for holiday mornings. The addition of rum extract gives it great flavor while keeping it “kid-friendly” too.

How could you make French Toast any better? Add eggnog! We started doing this a few years back & now reserve this amazing treat for special occasions & holidays.

The eggnog brings forth an explosion of flavors which will have the family going back for more. We have some pretty picky eaters in the house who didn’t happen to be too fond of eggnog. That is, until this recipe!

However- like most recipes I try- I put my own twist on it. Taking the basic concept & base ingredients I changed things up. This was mainly because the recipe said it made a dozen.

My mother-in-law used to have neighbors that would load her up with zucchini every summer. When we would visit, she would have a whole bunch waiting for us to take home. I’m not a huge veggie lover, but I’m also not one to waste food. I had to find a way to put it all to good use.
