How to Make Easy Guacamole

How to keep guacamole from turning brown?

To keep guacamole from turning brown, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator. You can also add a little lime juice or lemon juice to help prevent browning.

I have found that if you have a sliced avocado, you can wet it with water and then place the plastic wrap directly on top of it and store it in the refrigerator. This has worked quite well for us.

I have not tried it with guacamole because the texture isn’t smooth. The idea is that the water creates a layer that keeps air from getting to the avocado – which is what turns it brown. I would imagine if you tried to add a layer of water to the top of a bowl of guacamole, it would dilute and ruin it.

You could try just spraying the top of it with a mist of water and then placing the plastic wrap directly on top. If you give this a try – please let me know how it worked.

Avocados turn brown when they’re exposed to air. This is why it’s important to store this recipe in an airtight container.

What is the best way to ripe an avocado?

How to Make Hot Chocolate Dip Without Marshmallow Fluff

You can use your favorite dry hot chocolate mix!

To make this a creamier dessert dip, you can add a brick of cream cheese in place of the marshmallow fluff. However – hot chocolate really isn’t the same without marshmallows – so I highly recommend leaving the marshmallow in the recipe.

You can serve this with graham crackers, animal crackers, a spoon, candy canes, strawberries, Oreos, pretzels, and large marshmallows: This recipe is for a hot cocoa dip that is delicious and easy to make!

How to Make Hot Cocoa Dip

In a medium bowl, combine the marshmallow fluff, whipped topping, and cocoa powder.
Then, with a hand mixer, blend these ingredients together for about 5 minutes, or until the dip is light and fluffy.

Creamy Hot Cocoa Dip is so simple to make and is perfect for parties! Add a little whipped cream or more mini marshmallows on top for fun.

7.5 ounces marshmallow fluff
8 ounces whipped topping such as Cool Whip (Original – not low fat)
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp mini marshmallows
Graham crackers for serving

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine the marshmallow fluff, whipped topping, and cocoa powder.
With a hand mixer, blend these ingredients together for about 5 minutes, or until the dip is light and fluffy.
