Chocolate Covered Pretzels are a simple & easy treat that takes just 3 ingredients & a few minutes to make. A happy & delicious food gift everyone loves! One act of giving inspires another – be Glad to Give!
After 20 years of having a spouse in the fire service, we are very in touch with those around us that give back to our community each & every day. Beyond those that get paid to wear the uniform, there are countless others in every community that give of themselves for free. They sacrifice their time with their own families so that they can be out helping those in their community that need it the most. It often goes unnoticed & unrecognized, so we like to take some time to so a little something nice to show our appreciation to them. The kids & I made these Chocolate Covered Pretzels to take to the volunteer firehouse in our area to let them know that what they do is so needed & that we know the sacrifice they make.

These pretzels are really easy to make & that salty sweet combo is loved by all! Just pretzels, chocolate chips & sprinkles of choice is all you need.
Wrapping them up is simple too. I just used a plastic cup, bakers twine & Cling Wrap to make a gift package. Each fireman at the station received their own, which made them happy too! We chose Cling Wrap because The Glad Products Company believes that communities are built around human connections & giving back to those around you. Their “Glad to Give” initiative is encouraging you & those you know to donate items to those in need, volunteer your own time to a good cause & give back to your community in all the ways you can.
Chocolate Covered Pretzels
There’s always someone that could use a little help & you could be the light in their day!
With all the sadness & tragedy firemen see on a daily basis, I knew that these chocolate covered pretzels decorated in happy colors would make their day!
