Okay – last summertime post I swear! After today I’m jumping into fall. But I just loved this Blackberry & Banana Ice Cream so much that I couldn’t let the last little but of summer slip away without sharing it with you. It’s simple, quick to make & HEALTHY too. You have got to love that.
Just look at that color!! I just swoon. I had no problem letting the kids eat this for breakfast on our last couple hot days we had. Bananas & blackberries – just because it looks & tastes like ice cream doesn’t mean it’s not good for you. They absolutely loved it.
With this one I decided to freeze it overnight before serving. I had a few other things that needed to be eaten first. But I think next time I will eat immediately & enjoy it soft serve style.

Blackberry & Banana Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 5 frozen bananas
- 2 cups frozen blackberries
- 1-1/2 cups almond milk
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to blender & blend on high until completely smooth & combined.
- Serve immediately for soft serve or transfer to airtight container & freeze several hours for a firmer ice cream.
