No-bake Kool-Aid Pie is a delicious pie with orange Kool-Aid flavor, creamy pie filling, and classic Graham pie crust.
There is practically no way to mess up this pie, and you only need 4 ingredients and minimal prep time! However, if you are not planning to freeze it, I highly recommend using homemade whipped cream for the best results.
This Kool-Aid Pie is such an easy no-bake dessert recipe that will be perfect for summer cookouts!
I have more pie recipes for you that require no baking skills! These two are my favorites and will be great for any occasion: Banana Cream Pie and No-Bake Oreo Cheesecake.
Gina’s Recipe Rundown:
Texture: Creamy, tender, with perfectly soft and chewy cracker crust – it is simple and oh-so indulgent!
Taste: The pie tastes is whatever you want it to taste – you can choose any Kool-Aid flavor. I love a fresh, bright orange mix that pairs well with thick, creamy condensed milk.
Ease: You can whip up a whole pie for 8 people with just 5 minutes of prep time. The hard part is waiting! This sweet treat is one of the easiest desserts.
Why I love it: it is effortless, cheap to make, delicious, and looks amazing. Make with any of your favorite flavors.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe
- One of the easiest no-bake desserts to make at home.
- Perfect dessert for a hot summer day and always a crowd-pleaser.
- Customizable. So many flavor possibilities – as many as there are Kool Aids, honestly.
- Easy to make ahead and freeze for you to eat anytime you want!
Ingredients Notes
- Orange Kool-Aid powder. Kool-Aid is a popular cool drink mix that comes in a powder, and usually, you make this sweet drink with sugar and water. For this no-bake pie recipe, we don’t need water or sugar, though.
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Whipped topping. You can use store-bought Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream (you can make a batch 2-3 days ahead and keep it in the refrigerator).
- Graham cracker pie crust – I use pre-made pie crust to save time.

Kitchen Equipment
How To Make Kool-Aid Pie
Make The Pie Filling
- Whisk the Kool-Aid packet and sweetened condensed milk together in a large bowl, mixing until the color has completely mixed in.
- Use a sturdy silicone spatula to gently fold in the whipped topping until no white streaks remain. Do not stir to maintain the fluffy texture.
Add The Filling To The Pie Crust
- Transfer to the pre-made Graham cracker crust and spread it out into an even layer.
- You can make the crust from scratch, just combine Graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter, and then press it into the pie dish.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Top with whipped cream if desired when serving.

Storage
This pie will keep well for up to 4 days in an airtight container in the fridge.
You can freeze Kool-Aid pie. Tightly wrap individual slices in plastic wrap and another layer of aluminum foil and keep in the freezer for up to 3 months.
To serve again, thaw in the fridge for a few hours.
Substitutions & Variations
- Change it up and use different flavors of Kool-Aid you prefer: mix berry, cherry, raspberry, lemon lime lemonade, blue raspberry, orange, tropical punch (mix of berries and citrus), watermelon, strawberry kiwi – it will be super fun to try them all!
- Swap sweetened condensed milk with sugar and heavy cream or coconut cream (for dairy-free pie).
- Crust. You can use other cookies or crackers to make the crust. Oreos are a super popular choice! Try with a premade graham cracker pie crust, Oreo crust, or make your own with graham crackers or your favorite cookies.
- A healthier pie can be made with a sugar-free Kool-Aid mix. You can also use only half of the packet to keep the sugar content lower.
- Add vanilla extract or any other extract for extra flavoring.
- Decorate with fresh fruit, mint leaves, and more whipped cream.
- Make mini Kool-Aid pie cups, they will be perfect for a crowd. Mini pies are a perfect treat.
- This quick dessert can be made with mandarin oranges on top of the pie to tickle the taste buds.

Expert Tips To Make The Best Koolaid Pie
- Do not use an electric mixer! It is so easy to overbeat the creamy filling, and it will keep the pie from being smooth, airy, and fluffy – it will be watery instead.
- Besides flavor, consider the colors of the Kool-Aid mix – it can match perfectly an occasion, pink, blue, orange, etc. For a baby gender reveal, bridal shower, brunches, holidays, and so on.
- Don’t add sugar. Kool-Aid is rather sweet already.
- If you are worried about the crust getting too thin or falling apart, you can quickly pre-bake it without the filling.
- Do not take the pie out of the fridge before that hour. The pie needs more time to set.
