If you love a traditional s’mores recipe, the you will fall in love with S’mores Nachos. Incredibly easy dessert recipe that makes you swoon! Cinnamon pita chips, chocolate, toasted marshmallows…does it really get any better than that? Honestly, when you see how easy these are to make- it will be your “go-to” dessert, no campfire needed!
Do you love s’mores? I think they are a warm weather staple. For me, like many people, they mean summer time & good times outside. So that’s probably why everyone loves them so much. But you know, there are some downfalls to traditional s’mores. One, you sort of have to wait for a campfire to make them. Then there is the whole mess factor, dripping marshmallow, chocolate or cracker all over the place. That’s the part I’m not so hot on. But then this month I joined up with a bunch of blogger friends who make INCREDIBLE recipes for another recipe swap. This time- S’mores Nachos from The Creative Bite. Holy cow- my world is changed forever.
I have seen these recipes floating around for a while now. I figured, how good could it be. Well- I’m here to tell you as a self-proclaimed “dessert expert” that this is phenomenal!! I already happen to love chocolate & marshmallow. Put them together & now we’re talkin’. But now I can control the level of crunch to that by making s’mores nachos with cinnamon pita chips. Oh man, my cast iron skillet is going to see a whole lot of use now. These are UNREAL!
- 1 bag any flavor Pita Chips
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1.5 cups mini marshmallows
- ¼ chocolate sauce
- Fill a 10" oven safe skillet or pan with the bag of pita chips.
- Top with chocolate chips then marshmallows.
- Place in oven and bake at 350° for 6-8 minutes or until marshmallows are golden.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the baked nachos and enjoy your indoor 10-minute s'mores!
