Christmas Cookie Board

During the holiday season we host parties or visitors on the regular and when we do I like to have some sweets ready to share. This Christmas cookie board is a great way to showcase some of your baking prowess while giving guests an amazing way to choose their preferred sweet treats.

This presentation works well for large parties as well as small gatherings and it’s incredibly customizable. Feature all of the seasonal treats that you’ve baked or even add some store-bought treats — you can even add little bowls of edible cookie dough or candies.

If you haven’t already guessed from my collection of recipes, I tend to be partial to chocolate as well as cheesecake when it comes to desserts. So it only made sense that I’d pair them together to create a rich, chocolate brownie with sweet cream cheese filling like these red velvet cream cheese brownies.

I do love regular brownies but there’s something special about red velvet. The cocoa powder gives it that deep chocolate flavor and the red color just makes it the prettiest of desserts — especially against the backdrop of the tangy cheesecake filling in this brownie.

It’s a tradition during the holiday season at our house to watch our favorite Christmas movies throughout the month and one classic movie we can’t get enough of is How the Grinch Stole Christmas. So, naturally, I had to make some Christmas cookies that paid homage to that.

These Grinch cookies will steal your heart. They’re bright green and have an adorable tiny red heart on top channeling all of the Grinchiness.
