If you are anything like me, you like to keep the holiday as simple as possible. Looking for Easy Family Dinner Ideas? With so much going on I do my best to keep the schedule in check & not go overboard when it comes to the meal. I make the favorites & maybe one thing new & keep it to that. Since we are on the countdown to Thanksgiving I thought I would share with you a recipe that I feel MAKES the meal.
I have a real love for gravy. We make other flavors all year, but only in November do we make Turkey Gravy.
I really look forward to it.
I love this recipe because it’s so simple, tastes great & I can adjust to make however much I want.
I often will half or quarter it depending on what I’m making.

Because I’m paring things back & not going in to what I call “holiday abundance” this year I substituted my usual chicken stock for Pacific Foods Organic Chicken Simply Stock when making this recipe. Do you know the Tetra Pak carton packages used by Pacific Foods are designed for maximum efficiency & environmental friendliness? They are made of 70% paper, a renewable resource, from selectively harvested re-grown trees that are FSC-certified. These cartons use 1/3 of the packaging that cans do. That means saving space in my pantry. The unique packaging process preserves the flavor & nutrients of the food without the use of preservatives. If you have been following me for any amount of time, you know that I am making a push to drastically reduce the amount of foods we ingest that have preservatives in them. I am going on 9 months now of homemade breakfast for the kids- no store bought foods. So this makes me really happy to have more preservative free options in my pantry.
I was sent a handful of Pacific Foods items to try.
Pacific Foods Organic Chicken Simply Stock
Pacific Foods Organic Pumpkin Puree
Pacific Foods Organic Jellied Cranberry Sauce
