Here are some commonly asked questions
How long does it take for the pot to come to pressure?
Depending on what I have in there it can take from 12 to 20 minutes. For this recipe it was counting down after about 12 minutes. Still far less time than it takes to prep & grill the burgers.
Do I husk the corn before cooking?
Yes, you will need to remove the husks & silks from the corn before cooking. Because of the size of the pot, you will probably need to cut the cobs in half as well.
Should I use the trivet for this recipe?
I highly recommend using the trivet when cooking this corn. Just place it in the bottom of the pot, add your water & place the halved ears upright on top of the trivet. This helps ensure they all cook evenly.

How can I keep the corn warm for serving?
I find that if I add the corn back to the pot & place on the warm setting, this keeps the corn at the perfect temperature while we wrap up all our other fixings.
Can I make this with frozen corn?
Absolutely. Just increase the cooking time to 5 minutes. The following steps remain the same.
How do you store the leftover corn?
Place any remaining corn in an airtight container & keep refrigerated until ready to enjoy again. It should keep for up to 5 days.
How to reheat corn on the cob?
Wrap the corn in plastic wrap or cover with a damp paper towel & place on a microwave-safe plate. Heat in 10-20 second intervals until hot making sure to rotate inbetween each interval to keep the corn from bursting or becoming soggy. Add additional butter when serving if desired.
