Cheddar & Chive Beer Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 cups self rising flour
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 bottle kraft beer
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp chives
  • 1/2 stick butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Spray large glass loaf pan with cooking spray
  3. Mix flour, sugar & beer in mixer bowl with dough hook attachment until combined & dough like
  4. Slowly mix in cheese & chives
  5. Transfer to prepared pan.
  6. Bake 40 minutes
  7. Melt butter in microwave.
  8. After bread has baked 40 minutes- remove from oven & pour the melted butter over the top
  9. Return to oven & bake another 20 minutes.
  10. Remove & cool until it is able to be handled.
  11. Slice gently & serve warm.
