Cinnamon Pie Crust Dippers

Light & flaky pie crust chips covered in cinnamon & sugar! YUM!

  • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup Armour Premium All-Natural lard
  • 2 tbsp ice water
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon/sugar mixture 4:1 ratio


  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper & set aside
  • Combine flour, salt & lard in food processor & pulse until processed into pea-sized pieces. (no not over process)
  • Add in ice water & pulse until dough comes together.
  • Remove & wrap in plastic wrap. flatten slightly & refrigerate at least 30 minutes
  • Once chilled, remove & roll out on lightly floured surface
  • Cut with a pastry wheel or cookie cutters
  • Place on prepared baking sheet & brush with melted butter
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture
  • Bake 10 minutes
  • Allow to cool on baking sheet before serving with optional chocolate or strawberry dipping sauce.


*Note- I used the processor attachment for my blender - it has a plastic blade made for making dough & it makes it really handy. This isn't necessary, you can use a regular food processor.
