Cinnamon Pie Crust Dippers
Light & flaky pie crust chips covered in cinnamon & sugar! YUM!
Armour Premium All-Natural lard
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper & set aside
Combine flour, salt & lard in food processor & pulse until processed into pea-sized pieces. (no not over process)
Add in ice water & pulse until dough comes together.
Remove & wrap in plastic wrap. flatten slightly & refrigerate at least 30 minutes
Once chilled, remove & roll out on lightly floured surface
Cut with a pastry wheel or cookie cutters
Place on prepared baking sheet & brush with melted butter
Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture
Bake 10 minutes
Allow to cool on baking sheet before serving with optional chocolate or strawberry dipping sauce.
*Note- I used the processor attachment for my blender - it has a plastic blade made for making dough & it makes it really handy. This isn't necessary, you can use a regular food processor.
