Ingredients

  • 3 sticks unsalted softened butter
  • 1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 4 c. all purpose flour
  • 4 tsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 - 1 1/2 tbsp. ground coffee
  • 1 c. chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. chopped toffee pieces

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Combine flour, cornstarch, baking soda, salt and coffee grounds in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  • In mixer bowl, cream together butter and sugars
  • Add eggs, vanilla, and mix until creamy.
  • Slowly stir in the flour mixture until it is combined well.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and toffee bits
  • Bake for approx. 12-15 minutes or until edges are browned- cool on pan 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack
