Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9x13 casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Spread about a cup of the marinara sauce over the bottom of the casserole dish to create a thin layer.
Arrange an even layer of frozen ravioli over the top of the marinara.
In a medium bowl, stir together the ricotta, parmesan, egg, seasoning, salt, and pepper, and 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese until well blended.
Drop dollops of the ricotta mixture over the ravioli and then spread it out as evenly as possible. Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of mozzarella cheese over the top.
Drizzle with half of the remaining marinara sauce.
Repeat the layers of ravioli, ricotta mixture, mozzarella cheese, and marinara sauce.
Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Carefully remove the casserole from the oven and remove the aluminum foil. Top the casserole with any remaining mozzarella cheese.
Return to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
