Ingredients

  • 30 ounces chicken breasts - boneless, skinless - about 5-6 breasts
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 1 tbsp granulated garlic
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese - grated
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp minced onions
  • salt and pepper - to taste
  • ½ cup bacon chopped - not imitation bacon bits - use real bacon
  • 12 ounces alfredo sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • Trim the chicken and place it in a greased 9x13 casserole dish.
  • Add the spinach on top.
  • Sprinkle with the granulated garlic and Parmesan cheese.
  • Add the minced garlic and onions.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the bacon.
  • Pour the alfredo sauce on top. Then add a splash of water to the empty jar, tighten the lid, and give it a shake. Then pour the contents into the casserole dish for added moisture.
  • Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top of everything.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes on the middle rack. (or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees)

Notes

Note - if cheese is browning too much, tent with foil for the remainder of the baking time.
