Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 16 ounces beef hot dogs sliced into ½-inch pieces (or turkey hot dogs)
  • 30 ounces baked beans TWO 15-ounce cans
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat
  • Add the sliced hot dogs and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the baked beans, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, onion powder, and pepper.
  • Reduce the heat to low and simmer the mixture for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and slightly thickened.
