Easiest Snowball Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 pouch sugar cookie mix 17.5 ounces
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup butter - melted
- 1 egg
- ¾ cup finely chopped pecans
- 1½ cups confectioner’s sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper & set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cookie mix, flour, melted butter & egg. Stir until a soft dough forms.
- Fold in the pecans.
- Scoop dough & roll into 1" balls, pressing firmly to compact the dough.
- Place 1" apart on the prepared cookie sheet.
- Bake 10-12 minutes - until set BUT NOT YET BROWN.
- While the cookies are baking, place the confectioner's sugar in a medium-sized bowl & set aside.
- Cool the baked cookies for 2 minutes on the baking sheet before rolling them in the bowl of confectioner's sugar to coat the cookies.
- Place the coated cookies on a wire rack to continue cooling to room temperature before storing them in an airtight container.
