Cheesy Spinach Crescents

Ingredients

  • 2 tubes of Pillsbury Crescents®
  • 8 oz Neufchatel cheese- room temperature
  • 1-1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups chopped spinach
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • In a medium bowl combine both cheeses & the spinach - work together with a spatula - or you can mix in a stand mixer until combined
  • Open your crescents & lay out flat
  • Take a heaping tbsp of the spinach mixture & add it to the wider end of each crescent & then roll up
  • Place on baking sheet & continue with all crescents
  • In a small bowl combine egg & water & whisk well with a fork
  • Brush egg wash on the crescents
  • Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown & the cheese is melted
  • Serve immediately - enjoy!

Notes

Make it faster - cook these in the air fryer at 370 degrees for 9 minutes, flip and cook another 3-4 minutes.
Change up the flavors - add cheddar cheese and a slice of ham.
