Italian Lentil Soup

Easy family dinner ideas just got better with this simple Italian Lentil Soup that comes together in less than 30 minutes. Remarkably delicious comfort food!

Ingredients

  • 1- 28 oz can diced tomatoes- don't drain
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • Salt / pepper to taste
  • 5 cups egg noodles
  • 1 bag Birds Eye® Protein Blends Italian Style

Instructions

  • In a medium stockpot combine tomatoes, water, broth, garlic, onion powder, cumin, salt & pepper - heat over medium
  • In another stock pot, cook egg noodles to package directions for al dente
  • Microwave your bag of Birds Eye® Protein Blends according to package directions & then add to your soup mixture
  • Once noodles are done cooking, drain & add to your soup, stir
  • Bring to a simmer stirring frequently
  • Remove from heat - enjoy
