Cinnamon Roll Sugar Cookie Bars are the perfect treat for those who swoon for soft & chewy sugar cookies & have a love for cinnamon topped with sweet cream cheese frosting. These are incredible!

Ingredients
Cookie Bars
½cupbutter - softened
1cupgranulated sugar
1egg
1egg white
1-1/2tbspsour cream
1tspvanilla extract
½tspalmond extract
1tbspcinnamon
2-1/2cupsall-purpose flour
½tspbaking powder
½tspsalt
Cream Cheese Frosting
8ouncescream cheese - room temperature
8tbspbutter - room temperature (1 stick)
½tspvanilla extract
2-1/2cupsconfectioners sugar
Cinnamon/sugar mixture
1tbspgranulated sugar
1tspcinnamon
Instructions
Cookie Bars
Preheat the oven to 375.
Line a 9x9 inch pan with parchment - set aside.
In the mixer bowl, cream together the butter & sugar until fluffy.
Add in the egg & egg white, sour cream, vanilla & almond extracts & mix well.
Slowly stir in flour, cinnamon, baking powder & salt & mix until it is a crumbly dough.
Press dough into a flat, even layer in the prepared pan.
Use a fork to poke holes in the top so that it bakes evenly.
Bake 17-20 minutes or until browned.
Cool completely before adding the frosting.
Cinnamon/sugar mixture
Combine cinnamon & sugar in a small bowl & whisk to combine.
Set aside until ready to decorate the bars.
Cream Cheese Frosting
Combine the butter & cream cheese in the mixer bowl & beat well.
Add in the vanilla & then confectioners sugar & beat until creamy.
Spread frosting in an even layer & sprinkle with a little cinnamon/sugar mixture.
Keep refrigerated until serving.
*Note- I found it easier to cut the bars first & then frost each one to keep the cuts cleaner.
