Lemon Blueberry Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1-1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a small saucepan
  2. Bring to a boil over high heat
  3. Reduce heat & simmer approx 10 minutes
  4. Remove from heat - carefully transfer to blender
  5. Blend for about 30 seconds- make sure that mixture is smooth
  6. Transfer to sterilized syrup bottle - store in refrigerator
  7. *NOTE- please use caution when blending hot liquids.
