2 pounds beef stew meat or beef roast cut into chunks 1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt 1 teaspoon dried basil 1 teaspoon dried parsley 1 teaspoon onion powder 1 teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup undiluted 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 32 oz beef broth unsalted 16 oz egg noodles extra wide - dried
Cut the meat into chunks, if not already done.
Add the prepared beef to the crockpot.
Mix together the salt, basil, parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper.
Sprinkle the mixture over the meat and stir to coat.
In a small bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup and the Worcestershire sauce.
Pour the mixture over the seasoned meat.
Add the beef broth to the crockpot and stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 or until the beef is tender.
About 30 minutes before the beef is done cooking, cook noodles according to package directions on the stovetop.
Drain the noodles and stir them into the beef mixture in the crockpot.
Allow them to heat in the mixture if necessary.
Serve immediately.
Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
