1cupsalted buttersoftened (2 sticks)
¾cupgranulated sugar
¾cupbrown sugar
2large eggs
2teaspoonvanilla extract
2 ½cupsall purpose flour
1teaspoonbaking soda
½teaspoonsalt
2cupsRice Krispie cereal
1cupred and blue M&Ms
½cupwhite chocolate chips
2tablespoonspatriotic sprinkles
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl using an electric mixer, cream butter and both granulated and brown until fluffy.
Add the eggs and vanilla and mix until smooth.
Stir in the baking soda and salt.
Fold in the flour, just until combined.
Gently fold in the rice krispie cereal, M&Ms, white chocolate chips and sprinkles.
Using a 1 ½ tablespoon cookie scoop place the dough onto your cookie sheet.
Top each one with any leftover chocolate chips, M&Ms and sprinkles if desired.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool slightly before transferring to a wire cooling rack.
