  • 10 refrigerated canned biscuits
  • 4 cups vegetable oil
  • 2 cans frosting vanilla flavored
  • 1/8 tsp green gel food coloring
  • red heart sprinkles
  • white sprinkles

  • Remove the biscuit dough from the cans and set aside.
  • Pour the vegetable oil into a large, shallow pot and heat over medium high heat.
  • While the oil is heating, take a small cookie cutter and cut a hole into the center of each of the biscuits. Continue with each biscuit until you have 10 biscuits and 10 biscuit holes.
  • Add the biscuit donuts and donut holes to the hot oil 3-4 at a time. The biscuits will cook fast, so make sure to turn them every 30-45 seconds to make sure they are cooking evenly.
  • Remove the biscuit donuts and donut holes from the oil and onto a wire cooling rack.
  • While the donuts are cooling, place the containers of icing into the microwave and heat for 45 seconds. Be sure to remove the lid and (more importantly) the foil seal from the container before microwaving.
  • Stir in the green gel coloring.
  • Add the green frosting and white frosting to a large bowl and stir to combine. Use the bowl for dipping the donuts.
  • Dip each biscuit and biscuit hole into the colored vanilla frosting. Once they’ve been frosted, place them back onto the cooling rack and allow them to cool before adding an additional coat of frosting if needed.
  • Place the biscuits into the refrigerator for 20 minutes to allow the frosting to cool and harden.
  • Decorate the donuts with sprinkles such as white sprinkles and candy hearts for decoration.
  • Serve.

***Only add 3-4 biscuits at a time to the hot oil so that cooking and turning is easy as
these will cook fast in the hot oil
