Ingredients
4ozsmoked goudagrated
2tbspbutter
2tbspall-purpose flour
1clovegarlicpeeled and minced - or 1 tbsp minced garlic
1 ½cupmilk
1tbspWorcestershire sauce
1tspyellow mustard
¼tspblack pepper or more to taste
2piecescooked baconcrumbled for topping if desired
Instructions
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add the flour and whisk until you have a paste, then add the milk and continue to slowly whisk until the sauce is smooth.
Slowly stir in the cheese, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and black pepper. Keep stirring until all of your ingredients have melted together and formed a creamy sauce.
Serve warm with soft pretzels! If you opted for the crumbled bacon, now is the time to add it on top!
