Easy Overnight Oats

These super Easy Overnight Oats are a great make-ahead breakfast with just 5 ingredients and only 5 minutes of prep. So delicious too!

  • 1 cup rolled old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup milk dairy or non-dairy
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Toppings all optional: fresh berries, yogurt, honey, chocolate chips, peanut butter


  • Mix the oats, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla in a medium sized bowl or jar.
  • Place in the fridge overnight (at least 12 hours).
  • Stir and top with your choice of mix-ins and toppings prior to serving.
  • Enjoy cold.


This is a very basic recipe! You can add yogurt, chia seeds, jam, peanut butter, protein powder,
flax seeds-- anything you like
