Instructions

Gas Grill

  • Prepare the sauce and all of the toppings and then set aside.
  • Roll out the pizza dough into a thin rectangle using a small dusting of flour so the dough doesn’t stick.
  • Place the dough on a large baking sheet or pizza paddle.
  • Heat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Coat the grates of the grill with vegetable oil using an oil sprayer.
  • Slide the pizza dough onto the heated grates.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes or until bottom is lightly brown.
  • Flip the pizza over and brush it lightly with olive oil.
  • Spread on the pizza sauce and top it with the mozzarella cheese and the toppings of your choice.
  • Close the lid and grill for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the toppings are lightly browned.
  • Remove the pizza from the grill and transfer it to a cutting board.
  • Add any fresh herbs and parmesan cheese if desired.
  • Serve immediately.

Traeger/Pellet Grill

  • Preheat the grill to 450 degrees - preferably with a pizza stone in the grill to heat as well.
  • Prepare the sauce and all of the toppings and then set aside.
  • Roll out the pizza dough into a thin rectangle using a small dusting of flour so the dough doesn’t stick.
  • Place the dough on a large baking sheet or pizza paddle.
  • Coat the grates of the grill with vegetable oil using an oil sprayer - OR dust the pizza stone with a little cornmeal prior to adding the dough to prevent sticking. (however - if your grill and stone have been properly preheated, there is less chance of sticking because the dough will immediately crust when coming in contact with that high heat)
  • Slide the pizza dough onto the heated grates or stone.
  • Spread on the pizza sauce and top it with the mozzarella cheese and the toppings of your choice.
  • Close the lid and cook for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the toppings are lightly browned.
  • Remove the pizza from the grill and transfer it to a cutting board.
  • Add any fresh herbs and parmesan cheese if desired.
  • Serve immediately.
