Cucumber Sandwich Recipe

This Classic Cucumber Sandwich Recipe is perfect for luncheons, tea time, showers, picnics, and parties. Made with soft bread, cream cheese, English cucumbers, and dill, is a must-make!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf white bread - or your favorite variety thinly sliced
  • 1 English cucumber
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp fresh dill minced plus more for garnish
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese until fluffy.
  • Stir in the mayonnaise, dill, salt, and pepper until creamy and well combined.
  • Peel and thinly slice cucumber if using an American cucumber. If using an English cucumber, this isn't necessary.
  • Cut the crusts from the bread and then cut them into triangles or another shape.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture onto the bread.
  • Layer cucumbers on one side of bread, top with another bread slice.
  • Garnish with fresh dill if desired.
  • Serve immediately.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
