Ingredients
1loafwhite bread - or your favorite varietythinly sliced
1English cucumber
8ozcream cheesesoftened
¼cupmayonnaise
1tspfresh dillminced plus more for garnish
¼tspkosher salt
⅛tspground black pepper
Instructions
In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese until fluffy.
Stir in the mayonnaise, dill, salt, and pepper until creamy and well combined.
Peel and thinly slice cucumber if using an American cucumber. If using an English cucumber, this isn't necessary.
Cut the crusts from the bread and then cut them into triangles or another shape.
Spread the cream cheese mixture onto the bread.
Layer cucumbers on one side of bread, top with another bread slice.
Garnish with fresh dill if desired.
Serve immediately.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
