Brioche French Toast
Rich and tender brioche bread, thickly sliced and coated in a sweet cinnamon egg custard makes this Brioche French Toast the perfect breakfast. Topped with fresh fruit and maple syrup, it's delish!
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 loaf brioche bread about 8 slices
- 4 tbsp butter
- Fresh berries
- Whipped cream
- Maple syrup
In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat and add 1 tbsp of butter. Make sure the bottom of the pan is fully coated with melted butter.
Dip both sides of each piece of bread into the egg mixture and place it into the buttered skillet.
Allow the toast to cook for 1-2 minutes and then check to see if the bottom side is golden brown. If it is, flip it over and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Repeat with the remaining pieces of bread, adding another tablespoon of butter between each batch.
Serve the French toast immediately with your desired toppings.
