Honey Glazed Carrots
Honey Glazed Carrots are the perfect side dish for holiday meals like Easter and Thanksgiving, and also great for weeknight dinners too. Simple, easy & delicious, and ready in just 15 minutes.
- 2 pounds carrots peeled and sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ cup butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar packed
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 clove garlic smashed and minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley to garnish
Over medium-high heat combine the olive oil and butter in a frying pan and cook until the butter is melted.
Add carrots, brown sugar, honey, and garlic and stir to combine.
Cook for 8-10 minutes or until the carrots are tender, tossing several times to cook evenly.
Add salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with fresh parsley prior to serving.
