Buffalo Chicken Wings

Buffalo Chicken Wings are always the hit of any party, gathering, or celebration. Baked or air fried - these are easy to make & SO DELICIOUS!

Ingredients

  • 2- 2 ½ lbs buffalo chicken wings, separated
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • t tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup hot sauce (Franks works best)
  • 5 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish *optional*

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray or an oil spritzer.
  • Separate the wings from the drums and pat them dry with a paper towel. Trim the wing tips if desired.
  • Mix together the flour and baking powder in a small bowl and sprinkle the mixture lightly onto each wing, tossing to coat.
  • Transfer the wings to the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Turn the wings over and bake for another 15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • While the wings are baking, mix together the hot sauce, melted butter, and garlic powder in a medium bowl until well combined.
  • Remove the chicken wings from the oven and spoon the sauce over each wing, turning to coat evenly.
  • Return the wings to the oven to bake for another 3-5 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping. Enjoy!

You can make these in the air fryer

  • Cook the wings at 380 degrees for 25 minutes - turning/tossing every 5 minutes.
  • Then increase the temperature to 400 degrees and cook for another 5-8 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Notes

Notes: Cooked buffalo wings can be stored safely in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days. If stored in the freezer, wings are good for up to 6 months.
