St. Germain Elderflower liquor

of lime and cinnamon stick to garnish
Make the Cinnamon Syrup
Combine the water, brown sugar, and cinnamon sticks in a small saucepan over high heat. Bring to a boil and cook until the sugar has fully dissolved— about 3-5 minutes.
Remove from the heat and set aside to steep for about 30 minutes.
Remove the cinnamon sticks and carefully transfer the syrup to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
To Make the Cocktail
In the bottom of a copper mule mug, stir together the vodka, cinnamon syrup, St. Ger-main, and lime juice.
Fill the glass with ice and then top with ginger beer.
Garnish with a slice of lime and cinnamon stick. Serve immediately.
Light or dark brown sugar will work in this recipe.
