- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp table salt
- 3/4 cup butter softened
- 1-1/3 cups granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tbsp buttermilk
- 1-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 5 tsp Super Red Food Color
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, whip softened butter and sugar together until fluffy.
Mix in eggs.
Add buttermilk, vanilla, and red food color.
Slowly mix in dry ingredients until just combined.
Fold in white chocolate chips.
Cover and chill dough at least 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Roll chilled dough between hands into 1-1/2" balls and then roll in confectioners sugar to coat.
Bake on a parchment lined baking sheet for 13-14 minutes.
Cool on pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Store in an airtight container.
