Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 12 ounces full fat cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3-1/2 cups confectioners sugar
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tbsp milk
  • pinch salt


  • In a large bowl fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the cream cheese on high until smooth. Beat in butter until creamy.
  • Slowly mix in confectioners sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, milk & salt until well blended.


Add another tbsp of milk to thin out if desired.
