Brown Sugar Balsamic Pork Skillet Sliders start in the slow cooker & then finish in the skillet. They are simple & over the top delicious for your game day menu

Ingredients

  • 1 Smithfield Marinated Applewood Smoked Bacon Pork Loin Filet
  • ½ cup water

Glaze:

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ½ cup cold water
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Assemble

  • 12 dinner rolls
  • 1-2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter- melted
  • 2 tsp granulated garlic
  • sprinkle table salt

Instructions

  • Place pork loin filet in the slow cooker.
  • Pour ½ cup water in the slow cooker
  • Cover & cook on low for 6-8 hours
  • When you are close to the end of cooking, combine the glaze ingredients in a small sauce-pan
  • Heat over medium & stir until mixture thickens, about 6 minutes
  • Remove pork loin filet from slow cooker & place in a large bowl
  • Pull apart with two forks & then pour glaze over, toss to coat
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Place the bottoms of your dinner rolls in your cast iron skillet
  • Add pork to each roll
  • Top with cheese & then add top of roll
  • Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter & sprinkle with granulated garlic & salt
  • Bake 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted
