Easy Pork Onion Gravy
A simple pork based onion gravy that's great on everything.
- 1/2 white onion- minced
- 3 cups drippings from slow cooker after you remove your cooked pork shoulder or loin
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 4 tbsp cold water
- salt/pepper to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Peel & mince onion
Add onions & stock to a saucepan & bring to a boil
Mix flour & cold water in a small bowl & whisk until there are no lumps
Slowly add flour/water mixture to the saucepan, stirring quickly until it's all mixed in
Add in seasonings
Turn heat down to a simmer, cover & cook 20-30 minutes or until onions are tender & gravy has thickened.
