Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp olive oil -divided
  • cups warm water - 115 degrees is perfect use a thermometer for accuracy
  • tsp table salt
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp rapid rise yeast
  • 3 tsp garlic paste
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp additional salt
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp parsley

Instructions

  • Line a 9x13 glass pan with parchment paper.
  • Brush 2 tbsp of the olive oil over the parchment - set aside.
  • Mix together water, 1¼ tsp salt, flour & yeast.
  • Fold in garlic.
  • The dough will be sticky but still manageable.
  • With wet hands, spread dough into the parchment-lined pan. Brush with remaining olive oil.
  • Use a pizza cutter & cut 1" wide strips into the dough.
  • Cover with a cotton towel & allow to rise for 50-60 minutes or until it has about doubled in height.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Sprinkle cheese, granulated garlic & additional salt & parsley on the dough.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and lift breadsticks from pan using the edges of the parchment paper.
  • Cut through the breadsticks on the scored lines using a pizza wheel.
  • Place the cut breadsticks onto a cookie sheet. Allow a little space between them.
  • Return to oven and bake for 5-10 more minutes.
  • Remove from oven, brush with melted butter and serve.
