Line a 9x13 glass pan with parchment paper.
Brush 2 tbsp of the olive oil over the parchment - set aside.
Mix together water, 1¼ tsp salt, flour & yeast.
Fold in garlic.
The dough will be sticky but still manageable.
With wet hands, spread dough into the parchment-lined pan. Brush with remaining olive oil.
Use a pizza cutter & cut 1" wide strips into the dough.
Cover with a cotton towel & allow to rise for 50-60 minutes or until it has about doubled in height.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Sprinkle cheese, granulated garlic & additional salt & parsley on the dough.
Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
Remove from oven and lift breadsticks from pan using the edges of the parchment paper.
Cut through the breadsticks on the scored lines using a pizza wheel.
Place the cut breadsticks onto a cookie sheet. Allow a little space between them.
Return to oven and bake for 5-10 more minutes.
Remove from oven, brush with melted butter and serve.
