Beef & Mushroom Kabobs

Easy Beef & Mushroom Kabobs that are perfect for a backyard BBQ. Serve them with Beaujolais & it's the perfect way to entertain. An easy 30-minute dinner!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup olive oil
  • cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • pounds lean beef round or chuck cut into 1-inch cubes
  • boiling water
  • 12-16 mushroom caps

Instructions

  • Mix oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic, salt & pepper.
  • Pour the mixture into a zip-top bag and add beef cubes. Toss to coat.
  • Seal bag & refrigerate 10 min. When ready to cook, preheat grill.
  • In a large bowl, pour boiling water over the mushrooms & let stand a few minutes.
  • Drain the mushrooms & thread onto skewers, alternating between marinated meat & mushrooms.
  • Grill over hot coals for 5-7 minutes with lid down.
  • Turn skewers and grill for 5-7 more minutes with lid up.

Notes

On a gas grill - preheat to 400 degrees. Cook over direct heat for 10-15 minutes.
On a pellet grill - preheat for 15 minutes to 425 degrees. Cook 5-6 minutes on each side.
