2-1/4cupsgood quality Vodkawe use Stoli or Grey Goose
Mix water, coffee, instant coffee & sugar in stock pot.
Heat & stir over medium - high heat until coffee & sugar is dissolved.
It will resemble a thick syrup.
Cool to room temperature.
Stir in Vodka & vanilla. (if omitting vodka- just add vanilla at this point)
Pour into glass bottles, jars or storage containers.
Store at room temperature in pantry.
Don't worry about the foam that will surface at the top during the cooking. That is normal. It is just the coffee and sugar reaction from cooking it in this way. Just skim it off before transferring it into the bottles.
