Ingredients

  • 2 pears
  • 3 tbsp cinnamon & sugar mixture

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  • Spray the baking pan lightly with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
  • Slice the pears very thin & lay them on the pan in a single layer.
  • Sprinkle them with the cinnamon/sugar mixture.
  • Bake 2 hours – turning pears over half way through.
  • Transfer to wire rack to cool.

Notes

NOTE - I did core the pears but didn't peel them - but neither is necessary. Some people don't mind those parts - so it is really a personal preference.
If you are doing a large batch (more than the 2 called for in this recipe), you could probably soak the pears in lemon juice to keep them from browning while you work.
The pears I used for this recipe were semi-firm. I think it is a bit easier for slicing if they aren't too soft. But if you are slicing with a mandolin vs a knife - that might be different.
***These can be made with either apples or pears.
>>Make these in the air fryer - cook at 300 degrees for 16 minutes, flipping ever5 minutes.
