Salt-Dough “Robin Eggs”


  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 drops gel food color- blue


  • Mix dry ingredients in large bowl.
  • Pour in water & combine- kneading with your hands.
  • Add food color & knead until the color is evenly spread throughout the dough.
  • Grab small portions & roll into ball & then shape into a somewhat egg form. (or use egg mold)
  • Leave on tray for several days to dry (or bake at 200 degrees for 6 hours)
