Ingredients
17.5ouncessugar cookie mix
15.25ounceswhite cake mix
1cupbutter - melted and slightly cooled
3eggs - large
1tbspvanilla extract
1 can frosting
holiday sprinkles
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare a 9x13 baking pan by lining it with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a large bowl or the bowl of an electric mixer, combine the cookie mix, cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until just combined and then increase the speed and beat well for about 90 seconds.
Spread the mixture into the prepared pan in a smooth, even layer.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Cool completely before decorating.
To decorate, spread the frosting on in an even layer and top with sprinkles.
Notes
The dough will be more like the consistency of thick frosting. I have found it easier to spread it into the pan using an offset icing spatula.Nutrition info is calculated for just the sugar cookie bars and does not include the frosting and sprinkles.
