No-Knead Dinner Rolls

No-Knead Dinner Rolls are the perfect easy homemade bread without all the work! These soft, fluffy rolls are perfect for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups water warm - between 115-125 degrees
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet )
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • cup butter melted

Instructions

  • Working in a warm room, combine the warm water, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
  • Add the yeast and stir until dissolved.
  • With a wooden spoon or with a mixer using the dough hook, mix in the flour, scraping down as needed, until fully incorporated.
  • Cover the bowl and allow it to rise at room temperature for 45 minutes.
  • Prepare a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray or lightly grease it with cooking oil.
  • Punch the dough down and transfer it to a lightly floured, smooth surface.
  • Fold the dough into a rectangle and cut it into 12 equal portions.
  • Shape each portion into a ball and place it into the prepared baking pan.
  • Cover loosely and allow to rise until doubled in size, about 30 minutes.
  • While the dough rises for the final time, preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Brush the rolls with the remaining melted butter and serve.

Notes

To make overnight: Prior to the final rise, cover the baking dish and refrigerate. When ready to cook, allow the rolls to sit at room temperature while the oven preheats. Bake as directed.
