electric smoker / pellet grill
Ingredients
1cupblack olives - drained
1cupgreen olives
2tbspolive oil
2tbspred wine vinegar
⅛tsponion powder
⅛tspgranulated garlic
⅛tspchili powder
⅛tsppaprika
Instructions
Preheat the smoker to 180 degrees.
Spread the olives out on a small baking sheet. (I like to line mine with foil first for easy clean up - but it isn't necessary)
Drizzle the olive oil and the red wine vinegar over the top of the olives.
Combine the onion powder, granulated garlic, chili powder, and paprika in a small dish, stir and then sprinkle over the top of the olives.
Place the prepared olives on the smoker and let the smoke for 20-30 minutes. For added flavor you can let them go for up to 1 hour.
Remove and serve immediately.
Notes
I like to sprinkle them with a little grated parmesan cheese for serving.
For added flavor, add a half tsp of liquid smoke to the tray before smoking the olives.
