Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef stew meat or beef roast cut into chunks
  • 1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup undiluted
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 32 oz beef broth unsalted
  • 16 oz egg noodles extra wide - dried

Instructions

  • Cut the meat into chunks, if not already done.
  • Add the prepared beef to the crockpot.
  • Mix together the salt, basil, parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper.
  • Sprinkle the mixture over the meat and stir to coat.
  • In a small bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup and the Worcestershire sauce.
  • Pour the mixture over the seasoned meat.
  • Add the beef broth to the crockpot and stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 or until the beef is tender.
  • About 30 minutes before the beef is done cooking, cook noodles according to package directions on the stovetop.
  • Drain the noodles and stir them into the beef mixture in the crockpot.
  • Allow them to heat in the mixture if necessary.
  • Serve immediately.
  • Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
