Servings 24 rangoons

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 4 ounces lump crab meat
  • 1 green onion sliced thinly
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ lime juiced (about 1 teaspoon)
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Sweet chili sauce to serve

Instructions

  • Combine the cream cheese, crab meat, green onion, worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and lime juice in a small bowl.
  • Brush one side of a wonton wrapper with olive oil. Flip the wonton wrapper over so the olive oil side is facing down.
  • Add a tablespoon of crab filling in the center of the wonton wrapper.
  • Brush the edges of the wonton with water.
  • Pull two opposite corners of the wonton together, pressing them gently to steal. Then, pull the remaining two corners up to form a square. Steal the four lines together so the filling doesn’t burst when cooked.
  • Place the crab rangoons in the air fryer (make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket). Cook at 375F for 8-10 minutes, or until the wontons are crisp and golden brown.
  • Serve warm, with sweet chili sauce.

Notes

  • If your wonton wrappers don't seal with water, brush them with an egg wash instead.
  • I used lump claw meat (because it’s what I had on hand) but use whatever you like. Chopped imitation crab can also be used.
