- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 egg
- ¾ cup milk or buttermilk
- 2 tbsp vegetable or canola oil
Preheat the griddle and spray with non-stick cooking spray if necessary.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add egg, milk, and oil.
Whisk together until smooth.
Transfer the mixture to a plastic squeeze bottle.
Squeeze a very small amount of pancake batter, about the size of a dime onto the heated griddle.
Cook for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown, then flip and continue cooking on the other side for about 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.
Repeat with the remaining batter.
Remove and serve immediately with butter, syrup, or fruit.
