Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans trimmed
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp dry ranch seasoning
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup french fried onions
  • 1 cup Colby jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup bacon – cooked about 4 slices

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Place the green beans in a large, deep skillet and cover with water and 2 teaspoons salt.
  • Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and cook the green beans for about 5 minutes or until the beans are crisp-tender.
  • Drain the water out of the pan, leaving the green beans in the pan.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, ranch seasoning, and pepper.
  • Pour the mixture over the green beans and add in ½ cup of the french fried onions. Stir to combine.
  • Next top the green beans with the shredded cheese, remaining onions, and bacon.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
  • Serve with extra cheese, bacon, and fried onions if desired!
