- 8 tbsp butter 1 stick
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups broth of choice
- 1 tbsp dried minced onions
- 2 tsp table salt
- 1 tsp pepper
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Once melted, whisk in flour until blended.
Slowly pour in the broth, salt, pepper & dried minced onions.
Reduce the heat to low.
Continue whisking until mixture comes to a simmer.
Simmer until mixture reaches to your desired thickness.
Sprinkle with a little paprika or parsley when serving if desired.
