Cheesy Potato Casserole, also known as funeral potatoes or party potatoes are a favorite side dish. So easy, these are perfect for any meal or holiday.

2 bags frozen cubed hash browns thawed (12 oz each) 2 cups sour cream 1 can cream of chicken soup 10 oz 1/2 cup butter melted 1 tsp table salt 1 tsp onion powder 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 2-1/2 cups crushed potato chips or corn flakes or crackers 1/2 cup butter melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Thaw potatoes in a colander.
Combine the corn flakes, crackers or chips & 1/2 cup melted butter - toss to coat. Set aside.
Combine sour cream, soup, & 1/2 cup melted butter in a bowl. Mix it well.
Add salt, onion & cheese & mix until all combined.
Fold in potatoes.
Place in greased 9×13 baking dish.
Sprinkle on butter coated corn flakes, crackers or crushed chips.
Bake uncovered for 40-50 minutes.
