Brown Sugar Pineapple Sundae
Brown Sugar Pineapple Sundae - tart & tangy pineapple cooked with brown sugar & butter to caramelized & topped on ice cream.

- 1/2 stick butter 1/4 cup
- 2 cups fresh cut pineapple
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- vanilla ice cream
Combine butter, brown sugar & pineapple in medium saucepan
Cook over medium heat until butter is melted & sugar has dissolved
Turn heat down & simmer several minutes
Remove from heat & stir in lime juice
While still quite warm, spoon pineapple & sauce over several scoops of vanilla ice cream
